In-person details

TxDOT will also be hosting in-person option. In-person attendees will be able to view the same presentation available through the virtual hearing, review review project materials, ask questions of CAMPO and TxDOT staff and/or consultants, and leave written comments.

Virtual details

The virtual open house will consist of a self-guided virtual meeting room and will include both audio and visual components. The virtual open house is not a live broadcast event and can be accessed online on Thursday, May 15, 2025, and will remain available for viewing through Monday, June 16, 2025.

If you do not have internet access, you may call the FM 969 Corridor Study Team at 512-651-3964 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to ask questions and access project materials during the study development process.

Purpose TxDOT and the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) are conducting a feasibility study to identify and evaluate potential improvements to FM 969 from SH 130 to SH 71 in Travis and Bastrop Counties. There will an open house with both in-person and virtual options to participate to share safety and environmental data and engage the community in identifying potential improvements for the corridor.
Description The FM 969 Corridor Study will help CAMPO and TxDOT more clearly define and identify feasible options for improvements to FM 969. This will include an analysis of previous plans and studies, current and projected traffic volumes, crash hotspots, environmental features, and needs and concerns identified through stakeholder and public input.

Project materials will be available in English and Spanish for both meeting formats. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the in-person or virtual open house, please contact the FM 969 Corridor Study Team at 512-651-3964 no later than 4 p.m. CT, Friday, May 9, 2025. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for CAMPO and TxDOT to arrange.
