Public Meeting - FM 2100 from Huffman Cleveland north to Future SH 99

Purpose:
The purpose of the public meeting is to solicit input on the proposed design changes to FM 2100 from Huffman-Cleveland Road to future SH 99 in northeastern Harris County, Texas. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions. Comments must be received on or before Wednesday, March 20, 2020, to be a part of the official meeting record.
Description:
The length of the proposed project is approximately 5.7 miles and include:
- Widening the two lane facility to a four lanes by adding a 12 foot travel lane in each direction
- Widening the outside shoulders to 12 feet in each direction
- Adding an 18 feet wide raised median and five foot sidewalk in each direction
- The roadway would have open ditches with one detention pond

Persons interested in attending the meeting who have special communication or accommodation needs, or require an interpreter, are encouraged to contact TxDOT’s Public Information Office at (713) 802-5076. Requests should be made at least two working days prior to the public meeting. TxDOT will make every reasonable effort to accommodate these needs.
Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
