Purpose:
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is proposing to construct discontinuous mainlanes and associated operational improvements along SH 170 from IH 35W to SH 114, for a distance of approximately 6 miles within the City of Fort Worth and the Town of Westlake in Tarrant and Denton Counties. Displays will be available for viewing at 6 p.m. with the formal hearing starting at 6:30 p.m. Comments must be received on or before Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 to be part of the official hearing record.
Description:
The purpose of the hearing is to present the planned improvements and to receive public comment on the proposed project. The proposed project would:
The project would not require additional right of way or easements and would not require any residential or commercial displacements or relocations.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
