Where:

Glen Rose High School Cafeteria
900 Stadium Dr.
Glen Rose, Texas, 76043 (Map)

When:

Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Purpose:

TxDOT is conducting a feasibility study to analyze the need for and potential location of a second bridge crossing over the Paluxy River along SH 144 in Glen Rose, Somervell County, Texas. The purpose of this second meeting is to present the study and displays showing the recommended alternative. The public meeting will be an open house format to allow the public to view displays and ask questions. Written comments must be submitted on or before Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, to be part of the official record.

Description:

Currently, there is only one crossing of the Paluxy River along SH 144. If the current bridge became unusable, for whatever reason, users would have to drive over 15 miles for an alternative route.

The feasibility study will evaluate the need and viability of a second crossing of the river.

Special Accommodation:

TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The public meeting will be in English. If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (817) 370-6744 at least five working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time to arrange.

Memorandum of Understanding:
