When:

Tuesday, May 28, 2019

Purpose:

TxDOT is proposing to replace the existing westbound entrance ramp west of Campus Drive along I-20 and relocate it approximately 1,250 feet to the west of its current location in the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. The limits of the proposed improvements include Fort Worth & Western Railroad (FWWR) to Campus Drive. The total length is approximately 0.8 miles. The purpose of the meeting is to present the ramp design and receive public comments on the proposed project. The public meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation. Written comments must be submitted on or before June 12, 2019, to part of the offiical record.

Description:

The goal of the project is to facilitate access to westbound I-20 from the Department of Veterans Affairs – Fort Worth Outpatient Clinic without impacting traffic upstream and downstream of the ramp.  The existing right of way (ROW) width of westbound I-20 and the frontage road is 175 feet. No additional ROW would be required for the proposed project. It would not result in any residential or non-residential displacements.

Special Accommodation:

TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be in English. If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (817) 370-6610 at least five working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time to arrange.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
