Purpose TxDOT Fort Worth District is proposing improvements to US 377 from Holmes Drive to 3,000 feet north of FM 167 (Fall Creek Highway), a distance of approximately nine miles, and SH 144 from Autumn Ridge Road to FM 51 (Paluxy Road), a distance of approximately 0.4 miles, in the city of Granbury, Hood County, Texas. All comments must be received on or before Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Description

The proposed project design would reconstruct and widen US 377 from a four-lane divided highway to a six-lane divided highway with a raised, concrete median. The project would plan for adding capacity to US 377 from Holmes Drive to 3,000 feet north of FM 167, and would improve cross street interchanges, ramps and driveway connections. The proposed project also includes the addition of shared-use paths in each direction for bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, and drainage improvements along the corridor. A breakout project for early implementation would include improvements to the US 377/SH 144 interchange from FM 51 to the north end of the Brazos River Bridge, and SH 144 from Autumn Ridge Road to FM 51.

The proposed project would, subject to final design considerations, require additional right-of-way and potentially displace residences and non-residential structures.
