Purpose:

The purpose of the open house is to share information and gather public input on the proposed reconstruction of SH 256 from 10th Street to US 287 in Memphis. A presentation will begin at 7 p.m., and TxDOT personnel will be onsite to answer questions regarding the project.

Description:

This project proposes improvements to SH 256 in Memphis, including pedestrian elements and improvements. This is the follow up to the Conceptual Meeting held on April 16, 2018.

Memorandum of Understanding:

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
