Richland Springs, TX 76871 (Map)

When:

Thursday, April 12, 2018
5 p.m. Open House
6:30 p.m. Official Public Hearing

Purpose:

The purpose of the hearing is for the public to ask questions and provide comments for consideration in the final design of proposed improvements to FM 45 between the Mills County line and the Richland Springs north city limit in San Saba county.

Description:

The project will be constructed in several phases, based on safety priorities and funding availability. The likely first priority project will be at Wilbarger Creek and approximately one-half mile in each direction. The projects proposed would include realignment of the roadway with the addition of shoulder width, bridge replacements and other culvert widenings/replacements, and right-of-way acquisition. The proposed projects in San Saba County will be similar in scope to the completed improvements on FM 45 in Brown County and the improvements currently underway on FM 45 in Mills County. Two previous public meetings have been held to receive input from the public and affected property owners. A public hearing has now been scheduled to close out the preliminary phase and move toward project plan finalization and construction.

Special accommodations: TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The public hearing will be in English. If you have a special communication accommodation or need for an interpreter, a request can be made. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can also be made to accommodate most needs. Please call (325) 643-0413 at least five working days prior to the meeting. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
