Purpose:
The purpose of the public hearing is to present the proposed project on RM 12 (Wonder World Drive)/FM 2439 (Hunter Road) 200 feet north of Hunter Road to 400 feet south of Hunter Road in Hays County, Texas. The hearing will begin at 5 p.m. with an open house format, with a formal presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. Project team members will be on hand to answer questions and provide information during the open house portion of the hearing. Comments must be received on or before July 24, 2019, to be a part of the official hearing record..
Description:
Proposed improvements include the following:
- Adding two pedestrian refuge islands;
- Adding bicycle lanes along intersection approaches on FM 2439; and
- Updating signing and striping at the intersection.

Memorandum of Understanding:
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
