David McMillan serves as director of Human Resources.
McMillan began his human resources career in 1983 and has since worked in the manufacturing, grocery wholesale, health care and consulting business sectors. From 1990 until 2008, McMillan was the vice president of human resources for a national home health company, employing more than 20,000 team members. In this role, he led the human resources department overseeing recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, HIPAA, benefits and P&P reviews. The success of the department was contingent on working with the field operations and maintaining a focus of delivering outstanding service to the human resources customer—the employee.
Since 2008, McMillan has worked in a consultant role for two multi-state companies—STL Medical Supplies and D&S Community Services—providing business development and human resources leadership support.
McMillan received a bachelor of business from the University of Houston, a Master of Science, Organizational Leadership and Ethics from St. Edward's University and earned the Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) certification.
