In her previous public service role Ryan was chair of the Board of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, where she represented the vehicle manufacturing and distribution industry.  During her tenure at TxDMV, Ryan’s focus was to make the department more innovative, customer-oriented and efficient by advancing the online registration process.
