Public Meeting - SH 206 from US 84 to SH 153

Purpose:
The purpose of the public meeting is to gather public input on proposed improvements to an approximately 1.2-mile portion of SH 206 (Neches Street) between US 84/US 283 (North Colorado Street) and SH 153 (West Walnut Street) in Coleman. The meeting will be an open house format so the public may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.
Description:
Proposed improvements include the following:
- Pavement reconstruction
- Curb and gutter
- Sidewalks
- Storm drains
- ADA compliance
Special accommodations: TxDOT makes every reasonable effort to accommodate the needs of the public. The open house will be in English. Please be aware that advance notice is requested as some accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
Comments must be received on or before Feb. 9, 2018 to be a part of the official meeting record.
