Purpose:
The purpose of the hearing is to present the planned improvements to FM 2304, from Ravenscroft Drive to FM 1626, in Travis County, Texas. Comments must be received on or before July 13, 2018 to be part of the official hearing record.
Description:
The proposed project includes:
- Widening the existing Manchaca Road from Ravenscroft Drive to FM 1626 to a four-lane roadway with a center-turn lane
- Adding dedicated bicycle lanes
- Adding ADA-compliant sidewalks and curb ramps
- Adding storm water drainage improvements with curb and gutter inlets
All proposed construction would occur within the existing right of way with no displacements or relocations of businesses or residences.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
