Morgan Creek bridge maintenance begins Aug. 24

Goodrich – A maintenance project for the Morgan Creek Bridge on US 59 north of Goodrich will get underway Monday, Aug. 24.

The project is projected to take approximately two months, weather permitting.

Lane closures will be required when riprap is installed at the bridge slopes, and shoulder closures will occur when work is performed beneath the bridge. The crossover at Aircastle Hill Road will close for the duration of the work.

Drivers should stay alert for changing traffic patterns and plan for possible delays. Slow down when approaching the work zone and watch for workers in the area.

Longview-based THK Construction is the contractor for the project.
