I-10 widening west closures

Phase 1

Monday, August 24 – Friday, August 28 (As Needed)

Daily, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• I-10 east and westbound between Los Mochis and Mesa alternate lane closures
• North and South Desert between Los Mochis and Mesa alternate lane closures
• Entrance ramp, exit ramp, and U-turn, east and westbound between Los Mochis alternate lane closures

Crews will be working on construction items.

Phase 2

Monday, August 31

9 p.m. – 6 a.m.

• South Desert at Transmountain full closure

Detour: Traffic to use Spur 16 to Isela Rubalcava.

Crews will be working on asphalt placement patch repair.

Continuous Closures Until Further Notice 24/7

• U-turn underpass at Bridge C between Anthony and Vinton full closure

Detour

• Traffic on North Desert will need to proceed to Anthony, TX and utilize U-turn Bridge
• Traffic on South Desert will need to proceed to Vinton, TX and utilize U-turn Bridge

Crews will be conducting Bridge Demolition and Bridge Construction on U-turns under I-10

• South Desert between Valley Chile and Vinton Steel left lane closed
• South Desert between Vinton and Longwood left lane closed

Detour

• Traffic will be kept in one lane, with access to entrance ramp at Valley Chile, then continue in one lane of traffic until past Bridge D at Vinton Steel

Crews will be working on walls.

• North and South Desert at the Los Mochis intersection left lane closed

Crews will be working on Los Mochis intersection.

• I-10 westbound exit ramp at North Desert between David and Nashua left lane closed

Crews will be working on the exit ramp.

• South Desert between Transmountain and Isela Rubalcava left lane closed

Crews will be working on lane reconfiguration for South Desert at Tractor Supply.

• Campus Park intersection at South Desert closed

Crews will be conducting paving operations.

Monday, August 24 - Saturday, August 29 (As Needed)

Daily, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Nightly, 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.

• I-10 east and westbound between Anthony and Mesa alternate lane closures
• North and South Desert between Anthony and Mesa alternate lane closures

Crews will be conducting dirt work and miscellaneous removals.

• I-10 westbound Bypass lanes between Mesa and Redd full closure

Detour: Traffic will continue along North Desert, through Thorn intersection, and enter I-10 before Redd.

• I-10 eastbound Bypass lanes between Redd and Mesa full closure

Detour: Traffic will continue along South Desert, through the Thorn intersection, and enter I-10 before Mesa.

Crews will be working on completing the landscaping.

• I-10 westbound exit Ramp 05 at Los Mochis full closure

Detour: Traffic to proceed on North Desert through the Vinton intersection.

Crews will be working on landscaping.
