I-10 Widening West

Saturday, February 7 to Saturday, February 14

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (as needed weekly)
7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Saturday as needed)

• North- and South Desert between Vinton and Mesa alternate lane closures

Crews will be working on miscellaneous construction work.

• I-10 east- and westbound between Vinton and Mesa (daily) alternate lane closures

Crews will be sweeping, striping, power washing, and painting barrier on I-10.

Monday, February 9 to Saturday, February 14

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Redd westbound between North Desert and South Desert right lane closed

Crews will be placing concrete median, riprap, and painting Redd bridge over turnaround lane.

Tuesday, February 10 to Thursday, February 12

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• South Desert to North Desert Turnaround at Mesa closed

Crews will be sweeping and striping frontage roads.

Continuous Closure Until further notice 24/7

Through end of February 2026

• South Desert between Transmountain and Isela Rubalcava reduced to one lane
• Transmountain West-to-East turnaround closed

Detour: Traffic through intersection at Transmountain.

Crews will be working on new roadway reconfiguration for South Desert.

Sunday, February 8 to Saturday, February 14

Continuous Closure

• Bridge C between Anthony and Vinton U-Turn Underpass closed

Detour: Traffic on North Desert proceeds to Anthony, TX and utilizes U-turn Bridge. Traffic on South Desert proceeds to Vinton, TX and utilizes U-turn Bridge

Crews will be conducting bridge demolition and construction U-turns under I-10 at Bridge C.

Continuous Closure

• South Desert between Valley Chile and Vinton Steel left lane closed

Detour: Traffic will be kept in one lane, with access to entrance ramp at Valley Chile, then continue in one lane of traffic until past Bridge D (Vinton Steel).

Crews will be working on walls 13 and 14.

Monday, February 9

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• I-10 westbound at Mile Marker 1.5 at Anthony Exit 0 after the Anthony off-ramp right lane closed

Exit ramp to remain open
Crews will be working on Weigh Station flasher maintenance.

Monday, February 9 through Saturday, February 14

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Daily)
9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly)

• I-10 east- and westbound between Anthony and Nashua alternate lane closures
• North and South Desert between Anthony and Nashua alternate lane closures

Crews will be working on concrete paving and paving trucks will be exiting the work area.

Monday, February 9 through Saturday, February 14

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Bypass lanes east- and westbound between Redd and Mesa closed

Detour:

• Traffic will continue along South Desert, through the Thorn Intersection, and enter I-10 before Mesa.
• Traffic will continue along North Desert, through the Thorn Intersection, and enter I-10 before Redd

Crews will be completing construction on an ornamental fence at Thorn.

Monday, February 9 and Tuesday, February 10

9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Nightly)

• I-10 westbound between Vinton and Anthony closed

Detour: Traffic will exit at Vinton, proceed onto South Desert through the Vinton and Anthony intersections, and enter I-10 westbound after Anthony.

• I-10 westbound between Vinton and Anthony left lane closed

Crews will be placing beams at Bridge D.
