Artcraft Project

Monday, June 1 – Friday, June 5

9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (As Needed)

  • SH-178 (Artcraft) east and westbound between New Mexico State Line and Doniphan alternate lane closures

Crews will be working on ITS/illumination and MSE wall installation.

  • North Desert between Helen of Troy and Cheddars Restaurant alternate lane closures
  • South Desert between Charlie Clark Nissan and Blue Sky alternate lane closures

Crews will be loading and unloading material and equipment.

  • I-10 west and eastbound between Redd and Transmountain alternate lane closures

Crews will be working on median columns steel and erecting formwork.

Tuesday, June 2 – Friday, June 5

6 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • Auxiliary lane between Clarkstone and Blue Sky closed

Crews will be removing formwork.

Tuesday, June 2 – Wednesday, June 3

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

  • I-10 westbound entrance ramp before Artcraft closed

Crews will be removing formwork.

  • Santiago at Artcraft intersection closed

Crews will be working on a water main, storm drain, and paving.

  • I-10 westbound exit ramp to Transmountain closed

Borderland Expressway Phase 2 Project

Monday, June 1 – Friday, June 5

Daily, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • US-54 east and westbound between Mesquite Hills and McCombs alternate lane closures
  • Mesquite Hills reduced to one lane between US-54 and Red Man. Flaggers will be on-site directing traffic as needed for haul trucks crossing Mesquite Hills
  • Flaggers will be on-site directing traffic as needed for haul trucks crossing at McCombs and Stan Roberts intersection.

Crews will be transporting earth embankment into the project and installing portable concrete traffic barrier (PCTB).

Runaway Truck Ramp Project

Continuous Closure Until Further Notice 24/7

  • Loop 375 (Transmountain) east and westbound between Northwestern and I-10 left lane closed
  • Loop 375 (Transmountain) east and westbound at Main Gap right lane closed

Crews will be installing arrest system and overhead signs.

Bridge Replacement at Alps Dr., Hollings St., and Concepcion St. Project

Continuous Closure Until Further Notice 24/7

  • Concepcion between Alameda and Paisano east and westbound closed
  • Alps between Marie Tobin and Raymond Telles closed
  • Hollings between Raymond Telles and Hondo Pass closed

Crews will be working on culvert and bridge rehabilitation.

ITS on Bridge of the Americas and Zaragoza Port of Entry Project

Monday, June 1 – Friday, June 5

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

  • Loop 375 (Border Highway) eastbound between San Marcial and Exit 58 (Ramp M) right two lanes and shoulder closed

Crews will be installing a cantilever sign for LRSS 14 sign and run power / communication.

  • Loop 375 (Border Highway) westbound between Fonseca and Paisano Exit right shoulder closed

Crews will be erecting Sign 15 Foundation.

  • US-54 at Altura entrance ramp between Frankfort and Gateway South shoulder closed

Crews will be installing ground boxes for DMS 15 Power.

  • US-54 southbound between Frankfort and Altura right lane closed

Crews will be installing the service pole.

  • Gateway South between Pershing and Cambridge median closed

Crews will be installing ground boxes.

  • US-54 South between Pershing and entrance ramp to Cambridge shoulder closed

Crews will be installing ground boxes for the communication of DMS 15 and Sign 5.

Improve Traffic Signals – Loop 478 at Yandell and Montana at Trowbridge

Monday, June 1 – Friday, June 5

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

  • Yandell between North Grama and Stevens all directions right lane closed
  • Copia between Wyoming and Tularosa all directions right lane closed

Crews will be installing new traffic signals, removing existing traffic signals, and demolition of existing drill shafts.

Loop-375 Rehabilitation Project

Sunday, May 31

8 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Nightly)

  • Loop 375 (Border Highway) westbound between Fonseca and Park full closure

Crews will be removing portable control traffic barrier.

Monday, June 1 – Thursday, June 4

8 p.m. – 6 a.m. (Nightly)

  • Loop 375 (Border Highway) west eastbound between Fonseca and Park alternate lane closures

  • Loop 375 (Border Highway) westbound between Fonseca and Park right lane closure

Crews will be asphalt milling and working on roadway base repair.

Districtwide Striping Project

Sunday, May 31 – Tuesday, June 2

9 p.m. – 5 a.m. (Nightly)

  • I-10 Frontage Road north and southbound between 0.22 miles west of RM 1111 and RM 1111 (in Sierra Blanca) mobile operations
  • FM-76 (North Loop) east and westbound between SH-20 (Alameda) and FM-793 (in Fabens) mobile operations

Crews will be working on reflectors and pavement markings.

Sunday, May 31 – Friday, June 5

9 p.m. – 5 a.m. (Nightly)

  • FM-659 (Zaragoza) north and southbound between North Loop and US-62/180 (Montana) mobile operations

Crews will be retracing pavement markings.

Crews will be working on the inlet.

  • Ramp H between I-10 East and US-54 North alternate lane closures

Crews will be working on the bridge rail.

  • Dyer (Spur 478) north and southbound between US-54 and Pershing alternate lane closures

Crews will be installing signs.

  • FM 2529 (McCombs) southbound between David M Brown Court and Sean Haggerty right lane closed

Crews will be working on shoulder.

  • Loop 375 East by Fonseca exit right lane closed
  • Fonseca exit closed

Crews will be cleaning the drain.

Please follow the detour signs in place on all projects. All work is dependent upon weather conditions.
