Artcraft Project

- SH-178 (Artcraft) east and westbound between New Mexico State Line and Doniphan alternate lane closures
Crews will be working on illumination and wall installations.
- North Desert between Helen of Troy and Cheddars Restaurant alternate lane closures
- South Desert between Charlie Clark Nissan and Blue Sky alternate lane closures
Crews will be loading and unloading material and equipment.
- I-10 west and eastbound between Redd and Transmountain left lane closed
Crews will be working on median columns steel and erecting formwork.
Continuous Closure Until further notice 24/7
Monday, March 9 - End of Aug. 2026 (Approx. 5 months)
- I-10 westbound exit ramp to Transmountain closed
Crews will be working on various constructions.
Borderland Expressway Phase 2 Project
Beginning at 4 a.m., Saturday, April 18 - 12 p.m. Sunday, April 19 (32 Hour Closure)
- Martin Luther King (FM-3255) north and southbound between Loma Real and O-Hara (NM-404) full roadway closure
- Local traffic will access businesses and residences between O’Hara (NM-404) and TX/NM State Line.
Detour: Traffic will use NM-404 (O’Hara Rd.), IH-10, LP-375 (Woodrow Bean/Transmountain) and US-54.
- Stan Roberts (FM-2529) between McCombs and Martin Luther King (FM-3255) full roadway closure
- Access to El Paso Electric Newman Power Plant will be available via McCombs and Stan Roberts intersection.
Crews will be working on a traffic switch to allow for construction of Martin Luther King (FM-3255) new road configuration.

- US-54 east and westbound between Mesquite Hills and McCombs alternate lane closures
- Mesquite Hills reduced to one lane between US-54 and Red Man. Flaggers will be on-site directing traffic as needed for haul trucks crossing Mesquite Hills
- Flaggers will be on site directing traffic as needed for haul trucks crossing at McCombs and Stan Roberts intersection.
Crews will be transporting earth embankment into the project.
Safety Lighting on Mesa (SH20) & Dyer St. (BU-54) Project
Monday, April 20 – Friday, April 24
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- SH-20 (Mesa) eastbound at Remcon intersection right lane closed
- SH-20 (Mesa) westbound at Camille intersection right lane closed
- SH-20 (Mesa) westbound at Thunderbird intersection right lane closed
- BU-54 (Dyer) eastbound at Hercules intersection right lane closed
Crews will be working on lighting improvements.
Runaway Truck Ramp Project
Continuous thru summer
- Loop 375 (Transmountain) east and westbound between Northwestern and I-10 left lane closed
Crews will be installing arrest system.
Bridge Replacement at Alps Dr., Hollings St., and Concepcion St. Project
Continuous Closure Until Further Notice 24/7
- Concepcion between Alameda and Paisano east and westbound closed
- Alps between Marie Tobin and Raymond Telles closed
- Hollings between Raymond Telles and Hondo Pass closed
Detour: Please follow and proceed with detours in the area.
Crews will be working on culvert and bridge rehabilitation.
Technology Project on Bridge of the Americas and Zaragoza Port of Entry
Monday, April 20 - Friday, April 24
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Loop 375 (Border Highway) eastbound between San Marcial and Exit 58 to extend to Ramp W left shoulder and lane closed
Crews will be trenching and installing conduits.
- Loop 375 (Border Highway) westbound between Fonseca and Paisano exit to include Fonseca entrance ramp to Loop 375 westbound two right lanes closed
Crews will be working on structures.
- Ramp W (I-110 east) between Cordova Bridge and Pera Street shoulder and left lane closed
Crews will be installing wire conductors.
Signal Work – Loop 478 at Yandell and Montana at Trowbridge
Monday, April 20 – Friday, April 24
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Yandell between N Grama and Stevens all directions right lane closed
- Copia between Wyoming and Tularosa all directions right lane closed
Crews will be forming and placing concrete curb, sidewalk and installing drilled shafts for traffic signals and PED poles.
