Horizon/Darrington Reconstruction Project
Monday, October 19 - Friday, October 23
Daily, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Horizon Boulevard east and westbound alternating lane closures from Lago Este to Horizon Crossing Street/Thea Smith Drive
- Horizon Boulevard east-westbound turn around lane closure from Lago Este to Horizon Crossing Street/Thea Smith Drive
- Darrington Road north- and southbound alternating lane closures between Kingston Road and Nunda Drive
- Darrington Road north- and south-bound turnaround lane closure between Kingston Road and Nunda Drive
Crews will be conducting electrical, concrete, sign, and landscaping work.
Continuous closure until November 2026
- Darrington Road north-southbound traffic switch from Roslyn Drive to 2nd Pete La Rue Circle full closure
- Darrington Road north-southbound access to Pete La Rue Circle will be through Jasper Drive through the First Baptist Church parking lot
Crews will be installing water, sewer, and storm drain lines.
Safety Lighting Project

Daily, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Gateway Boulevard east- and westbound alternating lane and ramp closures from Raynolds Street to Airway Boulevard
- Titanic Avenue east- and westbound right shoulder closures between Howard Street and Pandora Street
- Copia Street north- and southbound alternating lane closure between Wyoming Avenue and Hueco Avenue
- Dyer Street north- and southbound alternating lane closure between Van Buren Avenue and Kemp Avenue
- I-10 from north- and southbound alternating lane closures Acala Road to Finley Road
Crews will be doing shoulder work.
Montana Widening Project
Monday, October 19 - Tuesday, October 23, 2026
Daily, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Montana Avenue westbound frontage road left lane closure from Saul Kleinfeld Drive to Tierra Este Drive.
Crews will be working on rip rap.
Continuous closure until December 2026
- Montana Avenue eastbound frontage road reduced to one lane from Saul Kleinfield to Tierra Este Road
- Montana Avenue and Joe Battle Boulevard intersection, northbound and southbound of Joe Battle through lanes closed.
- Montana Avenue westbound frontage road reduced to two lanes from Tierra Este Road to Joe Battle Boulevard
Crews will be working on building underpass.
Purple Heart 375 Widening Project
Monday, October 19 - Friday, October 23
Daily 5 a.m.- 5 p.m.
- Loop 375 north and southbound alternating lane closures between Montana Avenue and Spur 601
Crews will be doing shoulder work.
Continuous closure until further notice
- Purple Heart Highway north and southbound shoulder closures from Montana Avenue to Spur 601
Crews will widen main lanes and construct north and southbound frontage roads.
Sergeant Major Bridge Reconstruction Project
Monday, October 19 - Friday, October 23
Nightly, 2 a.m. -3:30 p.m.
- Purple Heart Highway (Loop 375) southbound alternating right lane closures between Sergeant Major Exit and entrance ramps.
- Purple Heart Highway (Loop 375) southbound ramp closures between Sergeant Major Exit and entrance ramps.
Crews will be placing Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP).
FM 76-Pedestrian Improvements Project
Monday, October 19 - Friday, October 23
Daily, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- North Loop Drive westbound right lane closure between Rose Lane Circle to Delta Drive
Crews will be working on replacing sidewalks and driveways.
North Loop Drive deceleration lane, turn lane, and driveway
Monday, October 19 - Friday, December 23
Weekdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (as needed)
- North Loop Drive east and westbound full closure between Liahona Drive and Horizon Boulevard
Crews will be working on a deceleration lane and turn lane.

I-10 Hudspeth Safety Rest Area
Continuous closure until December 2026
- I-10 east and westbound shoulder closure between Fort Hancock and McNary
Crews will be working on construction of Rest Area.
