Night work on US 377 bridge at Adams Branch to begin next week

TxDOT’s contractor will perform preservation work on the US 377 bridge over the Adams Branch in Brownwood, beginning Monday, October 12. This work will be conducted overnight from approximately 8 PM to 6 AM. This bridge is located near the Red Wagon Restaurant, just south of the "Traffic T."

Crews will begin placing overlay material on the bridge Monday night at about 8 PM. Work will continue through Friday morning, weather permitting. During construction, there will be various nightly lane closures; however, all lanes will remain open during daytime hours.

Motorists are asked to use caution when driving through this work zone, watch for crews and equipment, obey the speed limit, and avoid distractions.

Motorists' patience is appreciated as work is performed to extend the life of this bridge.
