Loop 360 Projects
This project consists of improvements to the intersection at RM 2222, including a new Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI). This project also includes improvements to the intersection at Courtyard Drive by removing the signal on the mainlanes and replacing it with an underpass.

West Cliffs Stabilization Project
Crews have started work to stabilize the upper limestone cliffs on the west side of Courtyard Drive adjacent to southbound Loop 360 mainlanes. An estimated 155,000 cubic yards will be excavated during this advance work for the Loop 360 at Courtyard Drive/RM 2222 project which is currently anticipated to start construction in mid-2026.
Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the upcoming changes. TxDOT asks drivers to be patient. Pay attention to flaggers and traffic control, plan ahead and expect delays. Neighbors and businesses may experience an increase in noise, vibration, and dust during excavation and night work.
Lane closures
- Southbound Loop 360 at Courtyard Drive alternating single lane closure
- Monday, Oct. 20 to Thursday, Oct. 23, nightly 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Schedule
The project was environmentally cleared in spring 2021. Utility relocation will occur prior to the beginning of construction. Construction is anticipated to begin in mid-2026.
Occasional lane closures may be required for utility relocation. While service interruptions are not anticipated, contact your service provider if you have any questions.
