|How to make a comment||
For the virtual public meeting, the public may provide comments in the following ways listed below.
|Purpose||TxDOT – San Angelo District will conduct an online virtual public meeting with an in-person option for the 2023 – 2026 Rural Transportation Improvement Program. These meetings offer the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities.|
The virtual public meeting will include a pre-recorded presentation. This meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. A project in the Rural TIP is a project coming to your community and is the first step on the road to producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. The Rural TIP includes all regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. The Rural TIP includes all projects within the San Angelo District, which includes Coke, Concho, Crockett, Edwards, Glasscock, Irion, Kimble, Menard, Reagan, Real, Runnels, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, and Tom Green counties.
TxDOT has created basic instructions in an effort to help the public understand the basics of participating in a virtual public meeting. Before viewing the video presentation, click on the link below to read through the instructions.
|Accessibility||The virtual public meeting and in-person option will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the virtual public meeting or in-person option, please contact Pamela Stark, San Angelo District, at (325)947-9247 no later than 4 p.m. CT, Friday, May 6, 2022. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the TxDOT to arrange.|
