|The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and receive comments on which transportation projects may be coming to your area. The Bryan District includes Brazos, Burleson, Freestone, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Milam, Robertson, Walker and Washington counties. A presentation, materials for review, and opportunity for comment will be available. Comments must be received on or before Sunday, May 22, 2022, to be part of the public meeting record.
The Rural TIP includes all regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. As such, these meetings offer the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. A project in the Rural TIP is a project coming to your community. The Rural TIP is the first step on the road to producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. A short presentation and exhibits showing how the Rural TIP operates and projects included in it will be displayed at the public meeting.
|The virtual public meeting will be conducted in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to attend and participate in the virtual public meeting or in-person option, please contact Bob Colwell, Bryan District, at 979-778-9764 no later than 4 p.m. CT, May 9, 2022. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for the TxDOT to arrange.
