Across Texas, connected and autonomous vehicle (CAV) pilots and operations are taking off. Texas is the ideal location for these emerging technologies to flourish. Texans have already become accustomed to seeing vehicles with radar and cameras attached to them driving down the roads.
This section of the website will provide an opportunity to better understand what these CAV technologies are, what these activities are trying to achieve, and where they are located. There are also links to state and federal laws, other websites dedicated to CAV, and a map of current or recent deployments in the state.
