I-35 Georgetown to Round Rock Project
Projects
The I-35 Georgetown to Round Rock project proposes to:
- Add two non-tolled high-occupancy vehicle managed lanes in each direction.
- Add one mainlane in each direction between SH 29 and RM 1431.
- Relocate and modify entrance and exit ramps.
- Reconstruct several bridges and cross street intersections.
- Add bypass lanes where needed.
- Add shared-use paths throughout the corridor.
Schedule
- The project team is currently developing a preliminary design for the proposed improvements and environmental studies are ongoing.
