Oak Hill Parkway crews continue bridge construction for the future eastbound US 290 mainlanes. They begin with construction of support structures including columns and caps, then place beams, and finally complete the bridge deck by setting panels and pouring concrete.
Oak Hill Parkway crews use a large paver to pour and flatten concrete for future westbound US 290 mainlanes and exit ramp just west of Scenic Brook Drive. Use of recycled materials from the old US 290 & SH 71 roadway surfaces helps divert construction waste from landfills and conserve new resources.
