Construction is ongoing. Neighbors should expect an increase in noise, vibration, dust and lighting. All closures are subject to change and weather permitting.

Short-term lane closures

The following are planned closures along US 290:

  • Eastbound US 290 frontage road entrance ramp closed at El Rey Boulevard.
    • 8/16 - 8/20 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • 8/21 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Eastbound US 290 bypass closed at RM 1826.
    • 8/16 - 8/20 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • 8/21 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Westbound US 290 frontage road reduced to one lane between William Cannon Drive and Circle Drive.
    • 8/16 - 8/20 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Eastbound US 290 frontage road reduced to one lane between South View Road and William Cannon Drive.
    • 8/16 - 8/20 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Eastbound US 290 reduced to one lane between RM 1826 and Old Fredericksburg Road.
