Construction is ongoing. Neighbors should expect an increase in noise, vibration, dust and lighting. All closures are subject to change and weather permitting.

Short-term lane closures

The following are planned closures along US 290:

  • Westbound US 290 frontage road reduced to one lane between William Cannon Drive and Circle Drive.
    • 8/23 - 8/27 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Eastbound US 290 entrance ramp closed at El Rey Boulevard.
    • 8/23 - 8/27 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • 8/28 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Eastbound US 290 entrance closed at RM 1826.
    • 8/23 - 8/27 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
    • 8/28 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Eastbound US 290 exit ramp to William Cannon Drive closed.
    • 8/23 - 8/27 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • Southbound Harper Park Drive reduced to one lane between westbound US 290 and eastbound US 290.
    • 8/30 - 9/3 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Eastbound and westbound US 290 U-turns at Old Fredericksburg Road closed.

  • US 290 rolling full closures in each direction between William Cannon Drive and Circle Drive. Closures should last no more than 15 minutes at a time.
