Trail closure notice

Starting Jan. 15, 2026, the White Oak Bayou Greenway (Little White Oak Bayou Trail), between Houston Avenue and the Castillo Community Center is closed for work on the IH-45 southbound to I-10 westbound and the I-10 eastbound to IH-45 northbound connector ramps.

The trail is expected to remain closed through 2028 and may be intermittently reopened throughout the project. A detour is in place for trail users, as shown on this map. Please observe the posted detour signage and do not enter areas with orange construction fencing.
