Current activity
Lane closures
Thursday, May 28 - UPDATED
- Southbound mainlane between University Drive and Southwest Parkway – Full Closure – 8:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
- All mainlane traffic will exit through the southbound Harvey Road exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just north of Southwest Parkway. Additionally, the southbound entrance ramps north of University Drive and Harvey Road will be closed. Please note that ramp closures will begin at 7:30 p.m.
- Northbound mainlane between Briarcrest Drive and William J. Bryan Parkway - Single-lane Closure - 7:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
- The northbound mainlane left lane will be closed to better prepare construction access in the center median. Additionally, the northbound entrance ramp just south of William J. Bryan Parkway will be closed.
Friday, May 29
- Southbound mainlane between University Drive and Southwest Parkway – Full Closure – 8:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
- All mainlane traffic will exit through the southbound Harvey Road exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just north of Southwest Parkway. Additionally, the southbound entrance ramps north of University Drive and Harvey Road will be closed. Please note that ramp closures will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Looking ahead
Here's what can be expected in the next six months:
- Two main lanes in each direction will be maintained throughout construction
- Majority of the work will be on the main lanes
- Construction of temporary pavement and retaining walls
