Typical closure times are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for weekday closures and 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for weeknight closures. Lane closures are allowed all day Saturday, and Sunday (as needed).

Please note closures are subject to changes due to weather and schedule.

I-20 Mainlanes

  • Ongoing, right and left shoulder closures from Markum Ranch Road to the I-20/I-30 split.
  • Ongoing, eastbound and westbound I-20 reduced to two travel lanes between the I-20/I-30 split and FM 1187/FM 3325.
  • Daily, Mar. 9-13, 9a-3p: I-20 westbound reduced to one lane between Bentley Drive bridge and Walsh Ranch Parkway bridge for sign installation. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Daily, Mar. 9-13, 9a-3p: I-20 eastbound reduced to one lane between Walsh Ranch Parkway bridge and Bentley Drive bridge for sign installation. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Nightly, Mar 9-13, 7p-6a: I-20 and I-30 eastbound and westbound single lane closures between FM 1187/FM 3325 and Walsh Ranch Rd for setting traffic safety barrier and pavement striping. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Anticipated, Mar. 24: the existing FM 1187/FM 3325 exit ramp (Exit 420) will be closed. Motorists on westbound I-20 will take the new exit just past the westbound entrance ramp from Walsh Ranch Parkway to access FM 1187/FM 3325. A detour map will be posted as soon as it is available.
  • Anticipated, Mar. 24: The current I-20 eastbound entrance ramp from FM 1187/FM 3325 will be closed and directed to use the newly constructed entrance ramp further west.

I-30 Mainlanes

  • Ongoing, I-30 eastbound right lane closure from Linkcrest Drive to Spur 580 exit for ramp construction. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Ongoing, the existing I-30 westbound exit ramp to Linkcrest Drive was closed in Aug. 2025. Motorists now use the Spur 580/Linkcrest Drive exit to the frontage road to access Linkcrest Drive. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Ongoing, the Linkcrest Drive entrance ramp to eastbound I-30 was closed in Sept. 2025. Motorists should follow detour signs and enter eastbound I-30 from Spur 580/W. Camp Bowie Boulevard. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Ongoing, starting on Friday, Mar. 6, 2026, the I-30 eastbound exit to Walsh Ranch Parkway will be closed until early 2027. During this closure, I-20 eastbound motorists will be directed to exit to FM 1187/FM 3325 (Exit 420) and continue on the eastbound frontage road to access Walsh Ranch Parkway. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Nightly, Mar 9-13, 7p-6a: I-20 and I-30 eastbound and westbound single lane closures between FM 1187/FM 3325 and Walsh Ranch Rd for setting traffic safety barrier and pavement striping. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Daily, Mar 9-14, 9a-3p: I-30 eastbound and westbound mainlanes will be reduced to one lane (left lane closure) between Linkcrest Dr and Mary’s Creek for truck access.
  • Anticipated, Mar. 24 (ongoing): motorists on westbound I-30 coming from Fort Worth will be directed to exit at Walsh Ranch Parkway (Exit 1A) and continue on the westbound frontage road to access FM 1187/FM 3325 while the new exit ramp is being constructed. A detour map will be posted as soon as it is available.

I-20 Frontage Roads

  • Ongoing: the eastbound frontage road between FM 1187/FM 3325 entrance ramp to just west of Walsh Ranch Parkway exit ramp reduced to one travel lane for drainage and roadway construction. EXPECT DELAYS.

I-30 Frontage Roads

  • Ongoing, the westbound frontage road between Alemeda Street and Old Weatherford Road is reduced to one travel lane for roadway construction. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Ongoing, the eastbound frontage road between RM 2871/Longvue Avenue and Alemeda Street exit ramp is reduced to one lane for drainage, structures, and roadway construction. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Daily, Mar 9-14, 9a-3p: I-30 westbound frontage road left lane closures approaching RM 2871 to Chapel Creek Blvd exit ramp for drainage work.
  • Daily, Mar 9-14, 9a-3p: I-30 westbound frontage road closed between Alemeda St and RM 2871 for bridge construction. Traffic will be detoured north on Alemeda St following Amer Ridge Dr, and south on Academy Blvd.

Spur 580/W. Camp Bowie Boulevard

  • No scheduled closures.

Alemeda Street

  • No scheduled closures.

RM 2871/Longvue Avenue

  • Ongoing, beginning on Feb. 5 the RM 2871/Longvue Avenue bridge over I-30 was closed for reconstruction until Aug. 2026. Motorists will be detoured to either Chapel Creek Boulevard or Alemeda Street to get across I-30 during this closure.

I-820 West Loop Mainlanes

  • Ongoing, I-820 southbound right lane between Westpoint Boulevard and the eastbound and westbound exits to I-30 closed for new ramp construction. EXPECT DELAYS.

I-820 West Loop Frontage Roads

  • Ongoing, the southbound frontage road between Westpoint Boulevard and Alemeda Street is reduced to one travel lane for new ramp construction. EXPECT DELAYS.
  • Daily, Mar 9-14, 9a-3p: I-820 southbound frontage road closed between Westpoint Blvd and Alemeda St for bridge construction. Traffic will be detoured west on Westpoint Blvd, and south on Alemeda St.
  • Mar 20, 9a-3p: I-820 southbound frontage road closed between Westpoint Blvd and Alemeda St for bridge construction. Traffic will be detoured west on Westpoint Blvd, and south on Alemeda St.
