Purpose | The TxDOT Lufkin District will be conducting an online virtual public meeting on the proposed project with an in-person option to present the proposed widening of US 259 from SH 204 to Rusk County line in Nacogdoches County, Texas. In-person attendees will be able to view the same presentation delivered in the virtual public meeting, review hard copies of project materials, ask questions, and leave written comments. |
Description | The seven-mile-long project would include:
The proposed project would, subject to final design considerations, require additional right of way and potentially displace zero residences and one non-residential structure. |
