  • Eastbound I-30 HOV entrance at Jim Miller Road
  • Westbound I-30 HOV entrance at Northwest Drive
06/29/20 until the end of the project Eastbound drivers on the I-30 HOV lanes will be required to exit at Jim Miller Road. Westbound drivers that want to use the I-30 HOV lanes must now use the entrance at Jim Miller Road.

Note: Estate Lane transitioned from a two-way directional traffic movement to an eastbound-only section of the eastbound I-635 frontage road. Eastbound Estate Lane between Plano Road and Walnut Hill Lane will become part of the eastbound I-635 frontage road. This is a permanent change as part of the 635 East Project.

U-turn lane

U-turn from the eastbound I-635 frontage road to the westbound I-635 frontage road (between Jupiter Road and Garland Road

Note: A new U-turn will eventually be built further east, closer to Garland Road, that will facilitate the traffic movement from eastbound I-635 frontage road to the westbound I-635 frontage road. A new connector at McCree Road on the north side of I-635 will also be built to facilitate the right-turn access to McCree Road from the westbound I-635 frontage road.

Note: A new exit ramp will be constructed as part of the project that will eventually serve both Galloway Avenue and Northwest Drive intersections, in replacement of the old eastbound I-30 exit to Northwest Drive. The location of the future ramp is further west, at the I-30 interchange.
