Description | The virtual public meeting will include a pre-recorded presentation. This meeting offers the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed priorities. A project in the Rural TIP is a project coming to your community and is the first step on the road to producing a Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The Rural TIP meetings are being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. The Rural TIP includes all regionally significant projects to be funded within a TxDOT District during the next four years, including those eligible for federal funding. The Rural TIP includes all projects within the Lufkin District, which includes Angelina, Houston, Trinity, Polk, San Jacinto, Nacogdoches, Shelby, San Augustine and Sabine counties. |
