TxDOT offers CRASH or Submission Services for electronic crash report submission.

CRASH allows law enforcement officers to submit the Texas Peace Officer’s Crash Report (form CR‐3) electronically to the State of Texas. To proceed with CRASH, complete and return the CRASH Training Checklist to TRF_CRASH@txdot.gov.

Submission Services, a data channel based on web services, allows law enforcement agencies with an existing records management system (RMS) to transmit crash records to the TxDOT Crash Records Information System (CRIS) for processing, storage, and reporting. Email Esubmission@txdot.gov for additional information and requirements to use Submission Services.
