The smart way to ride, drive, and live

2 MIN VIDEO | 2 MIN READ

For Texans, life is full of movement. Whether it's rolling up to a new skate spot or driving down an unfamiliar road, the key to a safe ride is awareness and knowing when to adjust.

Houston-born pro skateboarder Jordan Santana understands this firsthand. She’s earned her place in an extremely competitive sport by staying calm and in control. On the road, it’s no different. She spends countless hours traveling across the country, and getting to her destinations safely is always a priority.

Control isn’t about speed, it’s about awareness

Whether dropping into a ramp or merging onto the highway, a smooth ride starts with smart choices. The way we drive reflects who we are as Texans, which means considering others on the road, being aware of our surroundings, and staying ready for what’s ahead.

When you drive too fast, you put yourself and others at risk. If you go too slow, you disrupt the natural flow of traffic. Finding the right balance is how you keep the road safe for everyone you share it with.

No matter where I go or what I accomplish, I’ll always show up for my friends and family. It’s all about community.

— Jordan Santana

Drive like you live

Whether she’s at a local skatepark or on her way to a national competition, Jordan approaches every move with intention. The same focused mindset that helps her land difficult tricks keeps her safe behind the wheel.

Driving like a Texan means being part of something bigger — a community that watches out for one another, mile after mile.
