Chapter 14 - Appendix O – Multimodal Analysis
Section 1: Pedestrian Level of Traffic Stress (PLTS) Inventory and Classification
This form should be used to inventory a pedestrian facility when conducting a pedestrian level of traffic stress analysis. Only data applicable to the pedestrian facility should be filled out. For analysis of signalized midblock crossings or segment facilities, the sidewalk condition and width, buffer type and width, speed, number of lanes, and adjacent land use type are needed. For analysis of unsignalized intersection crossings or midblock crossing, the speed, adjacent roadway lanes value, ADT, and crossing treatments are needed. For characteristic definitions and other information regarding this inventory, see Chapter 14.
