18.3.2 Bicycles and Micromobility Devices

Some of the types of devices that are commonly used on Texas streets and trails are shown below in . Typical variations in height, width, and length are noted. Although recommended widths for bike lanes, shared use paths, and sidewalks in the RDM generally address these devices, designers should be cognizant of the expected use of the longest and widest devices and provide appropriate accommodations for the use of these devices.
