1.2 Plan Set Delivery Methods

Plans at TxDOT are delivered in two ways:
  • Traditional
    – plan sheets are the legal controlling document; and
  • Digital
    – digital design files and supporting details and forms are the legal controlling document. This is referred to as “Model as the Legal Document” (MALD).
