Public comment deadline Comments must be received on or before Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
Purpose TxDOT is proposing to construct frontage roads parallel to the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority’s 183A toll road from RM 1431 to Avery Ranch Boulevard in Williamson County, Texas. This notice is affording an opportunity to comment as part of the environmental review process for this project. If you are a property owner, you are receiving this notice because records indicate that you own property that is adjacent to the project.
Description

The proposed US 183 frontage road project would improve mobility and safety by constructing frontage roads parallel to the 183A toll road. The frontage roads would also serve as a relief route when the toll road has to be closed for maintenance or incidents. The approximate 3-mile US 183 frontage road project includes two grade-separated lanes on each side of the 183A toll road, as well as a shared-use path on the northbound side of the roadway, connecting to the existing US 183 trailhead.

Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Austin District, located at 7901 N I-35, Austin, TX 78753.

Accessibility  The project materials are written in English. If you need an interpreter or document translator because English is not your primary language or you have difficulty communicating effectively in English, one will be provided to you. If you have a disability and need assistance, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs. If you need interpretation or translation services or you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation to review the project materials or submit information, please contact the Austin District at 512-832-7060 no later than 4 p.m. CT, at least three business days before the date on which you would like to review the project materials or submit information. Please be aware that advance notice is required as some services and accommodations may require time for TxDOT to arrange.
