Research and Technology Implementation Division

TxDOT’s Research and Implementation Programs are managed by the Research and Technology Implementation Division. Products from the research program include devices, analytical tools, new materials, new or improved specifications, improved testing methods, and less tangible concepts like knowledge or guidance.

TxDOT fosters the knowledge discovery and innovation needed to operate, maintain, and improve transportation systems in Texas and across the United States.
