Open House - US 87 at FM 447 (Nursery Road)

The public is invited to attend the meeting to view project maps, visit with team members, ask questions and share comments. As the meeting is an open house format, no formal presentation will be given. All attendees can come at their convenience. Comments may be submitted using any of the following methods:

• Written comment card submitted at the meeting
• Written comments submitted by mail, email or fax after the meeting

After the meeting, written comments may be submitted to TxDOT – Yoakum District, Attn: Director of Transportation Planning and Development, 403 Huck St., Yoakum, TX 77995. Faxed comments will also be accepted at (361) 293-4372. Written comments must be postmarked, faxed, or emailed to Yoakum District Email by April 11th, 2016, for inclusion in the Public Meeting Record.

The meeting will be conducted in English. Persons interested in attending the meeting who have special communication or accommodation needs, or need an interpreter, are encouraged to contact the Yoakum District Environmental Specialist at (361) 293-4424. Requests should be made by March 28th, 2016. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate these needs. For general questions or concerns regarding the proposed project, or if you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to schedule an appointment, please contact the Yoakum District Director of Transportation Planning and Development at (361) 293-4363.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
