Purpose: The purpose of this meeting is to receive comments on the proposed FY 2015-2018 Rural Transportation Improvement Program, or TIP, including the public’s ideas for the improvement and growth of the transportation system and to hear which improvements have been scheduled in this area. TxDOT staff will be on hand to discuss the project development plan and schedule and to answer questions. Project listings and maps will be available for review at the meeting. The Wichita Falls District includes Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cooke, Montague, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young counties.
   
Description: The TIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally funded projects within the Wichita Falls district.
