Open House - Whipple Truss Bridge

Purpose: In cooperation with Bosque County, TxDOT will conduct an open house to discuss replacing the Whipple Truss Bridge over the Bosque River between FM 1991 and Riverside Drive.

The purpose of this meeting is to present the proposed design for a new bridge and the preservation plan for the existing truss bridge.

Interested citizens are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed design as well as the preservation plan for the existing bridge. TxDOT staff will be available to address specific comments and questions.
   
Description: The proposed project would likely require the acquisition of additional right of way from the west side of the road. Information concerning the right-of-way acquisition process and the benefits and services available to affected property owners will be available at the meeting. This information may also be obtained from right-of-way agent at (817) 370-6565.

All interested citizens are invited to attend and express their comments. The public may submit written comments at the meeting. Written comments and other exhibits may also be submitted to:
