Open House - SH 31

Purpose:
TxDOT is hosting an open house to inform interested citizens about the upcoming construction of SH 31 from the Navarro County line to east of Mt. Calm for a length of 9.7 miles. The meeting will be an open house format so citizens may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.
Description:
Proposed improvements include the following:
- Complete new alignment of SH 31 from CR 3350 to CR 3326
- New overpass bridges at CR 3350, FM 936, CR 3364, SH 171, CR 3369 and CR 3363
- Completely new pavement structure
- Safety upgrades and improvements
- Stock passes to accommodate wildlife and livestock
- Drainage upgrades and improvements

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT.
