| Purpose: | TxDOT will conduct a public meeting to present the recommended alternative for FM 2206 from SH 42 to Loop 281 in Gregg County. The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the recommended alternative. Staff will explain the project development process, answer questions and gather public input. TxDOT held the first public meeting on Oct. 22, 2014 to present three proposed alternatives for FM 2206. TxDOT gathered public input on the three proposed roadway alignment alternatives, and after further evaluation recommends the alternative linked below for further analysis. |

| Description: | The proposed project will widen the existing roadway from two lanes to four lanes with a flush median. The project is approximately 3.7 miles long and will require additional right of way. | ||
