Public Hearing - FM 2493 (Old Jacksonville Highway)

Purpose: | TxDOT invites you to a public hearing for proposed improvements to FM 2493 (Old Jacksonville Highway) in Tyler. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information. Currently, an environmental assessment (review of possible impacts the project could have on the environment) is underway. Environmental clearance is expected later this year. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide comments. Written and verbal comments from the public are requested and may be presented for a period of 10 calendar days following the hearing. Written comments may be submitted in person, by email or by mail to the following address: TxDOT Tyler District The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT. |
