In addition, concept layouts will also be shown at the open house with options for improvements that could help alleviate traffic congestion and improve safety within the study limits.
This will be the third public meeting held for the SH 16 (Bandera Road) Study.
TxDOT is conducting a study to identify design concepts for SH 16 (Bandera Road) from I-410 to Loop 1604 within the cities of Leon Valley and San Antonio in Bexar County, Texas.
The goals of the proposed concepts are to improve mobility, safety, and community connectivity while reducing congestion on the SH 16 (Bandera Road) corridor, and to accommodate multimodal transportation including bicyclists and pedestrians.
