Open House - Wurzbach Parkway from Lockhill-Selma Road to NW Military Highway

Purpose:

The proposed at-grade improvements include:

Adding one through lane in each direction on Wurzbach Parkway between NW Military Hwy and Lockhill-Selma Road
Adding dual left turn lanes on all approaches at Wurzbach Parkway and NW Military Hwy extending existing right turn lanes
Adding two right turn lanes on Wurzbach Parkway to northbound NW Military Hwy

Additionally, the proposed through lane on Wurzbach Rd south of Lockhill-Selma Rd, will end at a right only turn lane into Elm Creek and sidewalks will be constructed on both sides of Wurzbach Parkway where none currently exist for the length of the project.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
