| Purpose: | TxDOT invites you to an open house regarding proposed improvements to SH 46 between Esser Road and Ammann Road. This is your opportunity learn more about the proposed project, talk with project staff and give input. There will be no formal presentation; citizens are invited to come and go at their convenience. Persons interested in attending the public meeting with special communication or accommodation needs should call (512) 264-1095 by Oct. 20, 2015. |

| Description: | The proposed project includes expanding SH 46 from two lanes to four lanes with two-way left turn lanes and medians. The proposed project also includes constructing bike lanes and sidewalks. It is anticipated that right of way will be acquired for the proposed improvements. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT. |
