Open House Format
Purpose:
The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the proposed improvements to Loop 337 from I-35 to Hillcrest Drive, in Comal County.
Description:
The Texas Department of Transportation will hold a second open house meeting regarding the proposed improvements to Loop 337 from I-35 to Hillcrest Drive, in Comal County, Texas. The proposed project would upgrade the existing Loop 337 roadway from two undivided lanes to a four-lane divided facility. The proposed improvements would also include sidewalks in some portions and would be constructed entirely within existing right of way.
An open house for the project was held in November 2015. Based on feedback received at that meeting, the proposed design has been slightly revised, including the provision of a full intersection at Hanz Drive. The purpose of the second open house is to continue the dialogue about the project with the public and receive additional comments.
The public is invited to attend the open house to view project maps, visit with team members, ask questions and share comments. As the meeting is in an open house format, no formal presentation will be given. All attendees can come and go at their convenience. Comments may be submitted using any of the following methods:
- Written comment card submitted at the meeting
- Verbal comment made to the court reporter at the meeting
- Written comments submitted by mail, email or fax after the meeting

The meeting will be conducted in English.
