| Purpose: | Alamo Regional Mobility Authority in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will present proposed improvements to Loop 1604 between Bandera Road (SH 16) and eastward to I-35. The proposed improvements are being evaluated through an Environmental Assessment. The proposed project would improve mobility and reduce congestion by adding managed lanes within the existing Loop 1604 right of way. The Open House wiill allow the public to view project maps and material, visit with team members, ask questions and share comments. No formal presentation will be given. Attendees can come at their convenience. |

| Description: | The proposed project would improve mobility and reduce congestion by adding managed lanes to the inside of the existing Loop 1604 main lanes. This construction would occur within the existing TxDOT right of way. The proposed improvements could include improved transit services through the provision of additional lane space for transit vehicles and other registered and tagged high-occupancy vehicles. They could also include improvements to bicycle and pedestrian facilities throughout the limits of the project. |
