| Purpose: | TxDOT invites you to a public meeting for proposed improvements to the FM 106 lift bridge in Rio Hondo. Project staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide information. A presentation and public comment period will begin at 6 p.m. | ||
| Description: | TxDOT is proposing improvements to the FM 106 lift bridge in Rio Hondo. The proposed project includes rehabilitating mechanical, electrical and structural components on the bridge. No additional right of way is needed for the proposed project. The proposed project will be constructed in several phases and will require two temporary bridge closures and traffic detours while the bridge is closed. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT. |
